Job Description
Senior-level Not-for-Profit Business Development Manager (VP) at JPMorgan Chase, onsite in Saddle Brook, NJ, with a salary range of USD 128,250 to 175,000 per year and a minimum of 7 years of experience, plus a Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored client advice and service to create a seamless experience across Chase; foster cross-team collaboration with Branches, Home Lending, Chase Wealth Management, Merchant Services, and Card to offer comprehensive financial solutions.
- Provide customized business banking solutions aligned to client needs; apply knowledge of business, finance, banking, credit, and risk management; leverage relationships to identify, recommend, and promote solutions that serve the client while maintaining portfolio profitability.
- Adhere to risk management practices and regulatory requirements to safeguard the firm.
- Cultivate strong internal and external partnerships to deliver superior advice and service, expanding the business network and ensuring a seamless, multi-product client experience.
- Assess personal financial goals of business clients; coordinate with Chase Wealth Management, Home Lending, and branch teams to connect clients with specialists to meet those needs.
- Leverage referral networks and centers of influence to source and develop new clients, aiming for long-term relationships.
- Maintain an active business network and community involvement, such as Chambers of Commerce and not-for-profit boards; apply knowledge of diverse industries, markets, and financial concepts using Chase resources and marketing tools to grow the business network and prospects.
Requirements
- A minimum of seven years in a business banking relationship management role or related commercial lending experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven relationship management and strong tactical business development and negotiation skills.
- Track record of establishing and developing relationships in emerging territories.
- Ability to offer comprehensive and customized solutions by applying seasoned judgment; monitor market and industry trends and business outcomes to anticipate client needs and present proactive options.
- Capable of identifying opportunities, issues, and viable alternatives while managing risk when traditional solutions do not apply.
