Business Development Representative

ConsumerAffairs is hiring a Business Development Representative based in the Tulsa, OK office with regular in-office attendance. In this role, you own the top of the funnel for Aspect by combining AI-shaped research with disciplined, multi-channel outreach to earn qualified meetings and help pinpoint where brands are losing ground.

Responsibilities
- Research and prioritize prospects against the ICP and a scoring rubric, including company size and revenue, vertical, current standing on ConsumerAffairs, who owns page one of their branded search, and whether you or a competitor appears in AI answers, with a focus on honest disqualification.
- Build a point of view before outreach by using AI tooling to understand a category and brand quickly, so your first touch reflects real research.
- Run multi-channel outbound using LinkedIn and email, keeping messages short, personal, and non-templated, with disciplined follow-up.
- Diagnose on the intro call by identifying what the brand is actually losing and where Aspect fits.
- Hand off cleanly by booking meetings for Account Executives with clear context on the buyer and the diagnosed problem.
- Keep the system clean by maintaining an accurate Salesforce pipeline, producing reporting from disposition data, and keeping enrichment and sequencing tooling current.
- Protect the list through suppression discipline, including do-not-email and existing-client checks at list cut and again before send.
- Close the loop by feeding outcomes back to sales and marketing leadership on which angles, verticals, and titles convert.
Requirements
- 2+ years of sales or client services experience in a high-paced, technical environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume customer pipeline
- Comfort with cold emailing, cold calling, and LinkedIn outreach
- Experience with Google Workspace, Salesforce, and sales enablement software
- Experience with B2B sales enablement tools such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Outreach, Gong is a plus
- General knowledge of SEO and search engines
