Business Development Representative (Mid–Senior Level, Sales-Focused | Contract-to-Hire)
Job Description
Contract-to-hire sales role in the Dallas–Fort Worth property restoration market with a path to leadership and potential equity.
Responsibilities
- Identify and close net-new business in water, fire, mold, and storm restoration services.
- Leverage an existing network to accelerate deal flow and referrals.
- Meet or exceed revenue targets through a relationship-driven sales approach.
- Proactively grow and manage relationships with insurance adjusters and carriers.
- Develop and expand ties with third-party administrators (TPAs).
- Cultivate partnerships with property managers, HOAs, and multifamily operators.
- Engage general contractors, roofing companies, and trade partners to generate opportunities.
- Maintain a strong presence at local industry events and networking channels.
- Target high-value opportunities in commercial, multifamily, and large-loss segments.
- Support expansion into healthcare, industrial, and hospitality verticals.
- Provide timely feedback on market conditions and competitive dynamics.
- Own the full sales cycle from initial introduction to contract execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams for a smooth post-sale handoff with minimal day-to-day involvement.
- Assist with pricing discussions and proposals for larger or strategic opportunities.
Requirements
- 3–7+ years in business development or sales within property restoration, construction, or insurance-related services.
- Proven ability to generate leads and close deals, ideally in the $25K–$250K+ range.
- Strong familiarity with the DFW market and restoration landscape.
- Active, existing relationships with insurance adjusters and/or carriers.
- Connections with property managers, HOAs, or commercial real estate operators.
- Relationships with contractors, roofers, or trade partners.
- Demonstrated ability to translate relationships into revenue opportunities.
- Solid sales acumen and closing capability.
- Self-starter who thrives in a performance-driven environment.
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating with a founder-led team.
- Clear, confident communication and relationship-building skills.
