Business Development Specialist - Mandarin Speaker

Fantuan is seeking a Mandarin-speaking business development specialist to join its Rochester, NY team on-site. The role centers on developing marketing strategies, promoting the brand, and cultivating partnerships while actively engaging customers to hit monthly sales targets. It involves travel to meet clients, organize offline promotions, and support customers through onboarding and usage of Fantuan products.

Responsibilities

• Develop marketing strategies and achieve strategic goals aligned with the platform’s growth needs.
• Design promotional plans to raise brand awareness and visibility.
• Build relationships with target groups such as schools, professional associations, and other potential partners.
• Assess customer needs and execute corresponding marketing activities.
• Proactively expand the partner base and maintain strong relations with existing partners.
• Meet monthly sales and order targets.
• Create user manuals to assist customers with registration, installation, and product usage.
• Organize offline promotions of company products.
• Travel to visit clients and conduct sales activities.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with solid logical thinking.
• Passion for the service industry.
• Experience in catering, publicity/marketing, or the food delivery sector is preferred.
• Fast learner with adaptability and innovative thinking.
• Strong execution capability and ability to work under pressure.
• Creative, responsible, and a team player.
• Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
• Familiar with a variety of industry online database systems.
• Mandarin fluency is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Willingness to relocate to Rochester, NY 14610 before starting work.
