Construction Business Development Manager
Job Description
Stanley Black & Decker is expanding its footprint in the construction sector with a remote-based Construction Business Development Manager. This role centers on bringing new products to market, planning launches and marketing strategies, generating demand, and coordinating cross-functional product development to sustain growth across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end commercialization of new products.
- Plan and supervise launches across Stanley Black & Decker's multiple strategic business units.
- Lead and implement targeted marketing and development plans for each customer segment.
- Generate demand and grow sales by analyzing customer issues, proposing product-line modifications, and coordinating the sales force with relevant teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set timelines and define roadmaps for new products.
- Aim for streamlined launch processes and identify opportunities to accelerate growth.
- Educate and inform the sales organization about new product releases and features.
- Develop the marketing vision, strategic direction, and tactical plans, including long-range business initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required; degrees in Business Management or Engineering are preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or related fields.
- Proven ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization to drive strategy, influence stakeholders, and establish procedures.
- Skilled at aligning teams to the group’s strategic plan and taking accountability for outcomes while crediting the team for successes.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams to resolve end-user issues within the assigned region.
