Job Description

Based in Houston, Crawford Electric Supply is expanding its digital sales footprint with a high-visibility role that blends strategy, training, and cross-functional collaboration. The Digital Business Development Manager will drive online revenue growth, partner with sales teams across channels, and elevate Crawford’s digital capabilities for both customers and associates.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and pursue specific annual eCommerce sales targets.
  • Design and deliver training programs for internal teams and customers to broaden understanding of Crawford’s value-add services.
  • Collaborate with outside, inside, and counter sales to identify customer needs and tailor digital solutions.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, credit, and project management to identify SOP improvements and implement operational solutions.
  • Leverage internal analytics to pinpoint target customer opportunities.
  • Engage with customers to demonstrate, implement, and troubleshoot digital capabilities.
  • Support incremental digital sales by partnering with marketing on quarterly promotions.
  • Prepare and share monthly digital sales reports detailing branch and region performance, wins, and opportunities.
  • Develop and present high-level materials to executives, branch management, sales teams, strategic partners, and customers.
  • Share best practices with Crawford’s regional Digital Business Development Managers to boost knowledge and usage of eCommerce tools.
  • Participate in Sonepar Digital meetings as needed.

Requirements

  • Strategic thinker capable of planning and driving sales across all customer-facing digital channels.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of sales experience.
  • Electrical Distribution industry experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel approximately 60% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
