Job Description

Digital Sales Manager role overview for Pamal Broadcasting, focusing on developing digital sales initiatives across Albany, Glens Falls, NY and Rutland, VT markets.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales leadership to meet revenue targets and maximize digital revenue streams across Albany, Glens Falls, NY and Rutland, VT markets.
  • Develop and maintain internal systems and processes to keep digital products current, up-to-date, and competitive.
  • Work closely with vendors and all Pamal Broadcasting departments including sales, programming, and marketing to support digital needs; participate in in-person and remote sales presentations as required; assist in crafting digital sales presentations.
  • Lead ongoing training and development of existing sales staff and new sales associates in digital products and opportunities.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4+ years of media sales experience with a focus on digital platforms.
  • Management History: Proven success in sales management, team coaching, and goal attainment.
  • Industry Familiarity: Direct experience with broadcasting.
  • Essential Skills: Strategic coaching – ability to mentor sales reps and lead group training.
  • Essential Skills: Data analytics – skill in using analytics tools to assess digital campaign ROI.
  • Essential Skills: Software Proficiency – mastery of presentation tools and CRM software (Google Workspace, Salesforce, Tableau).
  • Essential Skills: Client relations – strong B2B relationship-building to secure new business.
  • Essential Skills: Proposal development – talent for dissecting RFPs and creating compelling sales strategies.
