Director of Business Development
Job Description
Relationship- and growth-focused leadership role responsible for expanding relationships with property management companies and commercial clients to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Own and expand relationships with property management companies
- Get us on preferred vendor lists across HOA and commercial accounts
- Build and manage a pipeline of commercial GC and property owner relationships
- Map and penetrate management companies at every level: managers, regional VPs, and board members
- Develop a systematic outreach calendar and report weekly metrics in our level 10 meetings
- Collaborate with estimating and operations to ensure seamless handoff on new accounts
Requirements
- You have 3-7 years of business development experience in roofing, construction, or property services
- You already have relationships with HOA boards, property managers, or commercial GCs in this market
- You are a natural connector; you remember names, follow up without being asked, and people genuinely enjoy doing business with you
- You are comfortable presenting to board members and executives, not just field managers
- You thrive in a structured, accountable environment
- You are motivated by commission and want to be paid for what you produce

What success looks like
- Year 1: $3-5M in new or expanded contract revenue attributed to your relationships
- Year 2: Preferred vendor status with 5+ property management companies
- Year 3: A repeatable Business Development engine that scales with the company
