Job Description
Capital One Auto Finance is seeking a Director, Regional Sales Manager to lead a field-based sales organization from an on-site hub in St. Louis. In this senior role, you will oversee a regional team of 8 to 10 Area Sales Managers, delivering hands-on coaching in the field and aligning activities with broader sales objectives to maximize originations, with travel required up to 60%. The position offers a salary range of USD 187,300 to 213,700 per year.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary management and oversight of the Regional sales team by ensuring adherence to sales protocol and driving optimal business results.
- Coach a high-performance group of up to 10 Area Sales Managers in the field to consistently meet and exceed key sales objectives.
- Coordinate activities and collaborate with the Sales Management team to realize maximum production efficiencies.
- Demonstrate a well-developed ability to analyze and organize a team of outside sales representatives, including time management, account handling, problem solving, and customer interactions.
- Work independently as well as collaboratively on assigned tasks and projects, meeting all deadlines.
- Engage directly with Key Customers to build strong relationships and generate incremental originations volumes.
- Oversee policy and procedure adherence to ensure compliant actions across the region.
- Travel extensively, up to 60% of duties.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience managing teams or people in financial services, or 4 years of sales experience within the auto finance sector.
- At least 4 years of credit underwriting experience in indirect lending.
