Door-to-Door (D2D) Sales Manager
Job Description
Join LumaGlow Lighting as a contract Door-to-Door Sales Manager and lead a field-based team selling premium residential outdoor lighting. This role blends hands-on selling with leadership, focusing on high-ticket projects and personal deal closure within a performance-driven culture. You will recruit, train, and manage reps while driving strong results, with a clear path to regional leadership as the company grows. The position is based in El Dorado Hills, CA (onsite) and involves work on the road.
Responsibilities
- Direct field sales by personally door knocking and closing permanent outdoor lighting projects.
- Build and onboard a team of door-to-door sales representatives and closers.
- Provide training and development on door-to-door approaches, appointment setting, and closing techniques.
- Offer field coaching by riding with reps and step in to close during presentations when needed.
- Track performance, enforce daily activity metrics, and cultivate a high-performance, competitive sales culture.
Requirements
- Proven experience in door-to-door (D2D) or in-home sales.
- Leadership experience in managing, recruiting, or training sales teams.
- A strong closer who leads by example.
- Highly competitive, self-motivated, and performance-driven.
