Job Description
Jay-Hill Repairs is seeking an experienced sales professional to grow and manage commercial food service repair accounts across Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey. This onsite role is based in Fairfield, NJ and offers a salary range of USD 42,500 - 50,000 per year, along with benefits that include a 401(k), health insurance, and paid time off. You will join a team that values quality, integrity, and lasting partnerships with clients while expanding our market presence in New Jersey. A background in food service, commercial kitchen equipment, or refrigeration is desirable.
Responsibilities
- New Client Acquisition — Expand revenue by following up with prospects, generating leads, meeting with potential customers to assess needs, design solutions, estimate costs, present proposals, negotiate complex sales agreements, close the sale, and align contract requirements with operations. Identify potential customers by researching the Food Service industry and related events.
- Manage Existing Customers — Help service existing clients by resolving issues, recommending solutions, and deepening engagement, including cross selling additional services. Build recognition for quality, integrity, and commitment to partnerships that drive repeat and referral business.
- Marketing and Promotion — Design, implement, and optimize programs to boost sales. Contribute to defining marketing strategies and sales programs, and delivering compelling sales presentations to small groups.
- Reporting — Keep management informed with prospect and sales results and activity, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and territory analysis. Attend weekly staff meetings to report progress.
- Integrity — Protect the organization’s brand by maintaining the confidentiality of proprietary and customer information.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or the food service industry. Knowledge of commercial cooking and refrigeration is a strong plus.
