Federal Business Development Manager
Job Description
Intelligence Consulting Partners (ICP) is hiring a Federal Business Development Manager to drive growth in the federal contracting space, supporting military and federal procurement needs across the Department of Defense. This remote role is built for high-impact sellers, with uncapped commission from day one and performance-driven rewards tied to results.

Responsibilities
- Generate sales through the DLA and GSA marketplace
- Support procurement needs across all military branches
- Identify new business opportunities within the Department of Defense (DoD) and broader federal space
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with military and federal customers
- Present ICP’s comprehensive solutions to potential clients
- Develop proposals and quotations aligned to client needs
- Support the full procurement cycle, from inquiry through delivery
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and training teams to develop winning strategies
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management
Requirements
- DLA/TLS-GPC and/or WAWF sales experience is mandatory
- Business-to-Government (B2G) experience is mandatory
- Experience with DLA’s Tailored Logistics Support (TLS) program is required
- In-depth understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Strong knowledge of DLA and GSA contracting processes
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools
- Excellent relationship-building skills with a consultative sales approach
- Self-motivated “hunter” mentality with strong time management
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team
- B2G expertise with TLS/SOE knowledge is mandatory
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required for candidates with strong relevant experience
