Job Description

Ellsworth Corporation offers a remote General Sales Manager opportunity with a competitive wage and bonus plan, plus a comprehensive benefits package. The role includes daily travel within a defined territory and overnight travel as needed for training and business meetings.

This position reports into SCD and supports a territory across multiple states in North America, including Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, Southern Illinois, Oklahoma, and the Dakotas.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage sales forecasts and AOPs for the region
  • Build and maintain relationships with leaders and key stakeholders at top customers
  • Partner with management to create and deliver Annual Operating Plan goals for each fiscal year
  • Support the sales process with existing and prospective customers generated by Engineering Sales Representative teams
  • Partner with the management team to establish supplier business plans and execute the plan within the region
  • Lead regular sales meetings and partner with the VP of Sales and the Customer Service Manager to counsel, review progress, and identify performance improvement opportunities

Requirements

  • 3+ years of industrial B2B sales experience, with specialty chemical market preferred
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in industrial sales preferred (or a combination of equivalent experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree required, with a technical or business-related field preferred
  • Proven ability to lead, support, and develop a team of Sales Engineers
  • Very good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
