Regional Sales Manager
Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager will define and lead regional sales campaigns for Delta MRO Commercial products and services. The role supports customer growth through relationship management, opportunity development, and achievement of regional revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction goals.
Role Summary
In this onsite position in Atlanta, GA, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving regional integrated team performance across designated customers and potential customers. The role also serves as the primary customer interface to develop prospects and opportunities, including up-sell initiatives that support future sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead regional sales campaigns aligned to the agreed strategy and regional opportunities for Delta MRO Commercial products and services across all designated regional customers and prospects.
- Manage and deliver regional integrated team revenue and margin goals, along with customer satisfaction objectives.
- Own customer relationship management as the primary customer interface to build prospects and opportunities for future sales, including the identification and creation of up-sell opportunities.
- Lead regional sales campaign execution in guidance with Business Strategy and Marketing to secure customer orders.
- Provide closed-loop intelligence on current and potential opportunities, including sales forecast data by product lines, new fleet entry, expanded stations, reliability, and related factors.
- Collaborate with Sales Support and Contracts to develop and respond appropriately to customer requests.
- Share insight into customer and industry behaviors to develop regional sales plans and methodologies for customers.
- Deliver brand awareness and communicate Delta MRO Commercial capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, or sales.
- Technical or services experience in the aerospace, airline, or MRO industry, with a customer-facing role.
- Experience managing customer deliverables, including budget responsibilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and drive change with customers.
- High proficiency in written and oral communications, producing concise, relevant, strategically driven documents and presentations for senior leaders.
- Ability to manage and execute multiple priorities in a timely manner.
- Travel expectations of 50% annually.
- Advanced computer skills including presentations and spreadsheets.
- Where permitted by applicable law, be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by the date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based roles (if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.).

Preferred Qualifications
- MBA/Masters degree preferred.
- 7-10+ years of Engine Maintenance Repair and Overhaul products and market experience.
- Experience with LEAP 1A/1B and CFM56 5B/7B programs.
- Direct experience supporting or selling maintenance solutions for CFM, Pratt & Whitney, or GE Aerospace commercial engine platforms, including LEAP-1A/1B, CFM56-5B/7B, PW2000, PW4000, or similar large commercial engine programs.
