Lead and drive sales execution across a multi-state territory for Rural Electric Supply Cooperative (RESCO) in Middleton, WI.

Coordinate all sales and marketing activities within the territory.
Accompany outside sales and management team members on customer visits.
Attend statewide industry events to build relationships with members and non-members.
Communicate the business model to customers and manufacturer partners.
Monitor and share marketplace changes, including product opportunities.
Develop product promotions in partnership with manufacturer partners.
Support delivery of the alliance partnership concept to members and customers.
Collaborate with the IT department to provide IT-related solutions and integrations for customers.
Recommend, communicate, and oversee sales goals for staff.
Manage sales and expenses to meet budget targets.
Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Assist with large bids and projects.
Coordinate with manufacturers’ representatives on lead-time, availability, pricing, and order expediting.
Partner with the purchasing department on inventory levels, forecasting, and stocking recommendations.
Support resolution of customer issues.
Provide supervisory leadership for sales staff, including hiring and training, assigning and directing work, completing performance reviews, coaching and disciplining employees, and addressing concerns.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, sales, or related field.
Five plus years of supervisory experience.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Good analytical and presentation skills.
Ability to develop relationships with customers.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
