Regional Sales Manager & Trainer
Job Description
Regional sales leadership role based onsite in Fairfield, CA, focused on elevating training and rapid ramp-up of in-home sales reps across multiple markets with travel to Los Angeles, San Diego, and Seattle.
Responsibilities
- Strengthen and continuously improve the onboarding program for all new salespeople across locations
- Deliver ongoing development for both new hires and tenured reps to sharpen skills and reinforce best practices
- Lead field coaching, one-on-one sessions, presentation coaching, and classroom-style trainings
- Serve as the internal expert on sales methodology, product knowledge, and in-home sales best practices
- Plan, run, and follow up on regular sales meetings with clear agendas and follow-through
- Collaborate with HR and local General Managers to support recruiting needs across locations
- Identify, attract, and evaluate top sales talent that aligns with Palm Construction’s culture and standards
- Ensure a consistent, compelling candidate experience that reflects the company identity
- Track and analyze onboarding and post-ramp performance metrics for new hires and beyond
- Detect trends, flag early concerns, and provide timely, actionable feedback to salespeople and local managers
- Develop and implement performance improvement plans when needed
- Maintain alignment with the company’s sales playbook, policies, and procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of field sales experience in home improvement or related industries, specifically in B2C in-home sales
- Proven track record of training, coaching, and developing sales teams
- High energy, self-motivated, and capable of driving results independently across multiple locations
- Strong ability to analyze sales performance data and translate insights into actionable plans
- Experience collaborating with HR, operations, and local leadership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient in one-on-one and group presentations
- Willingness to travel regionally as required
