Sales Director
Job Description
Peaceful Pines Senior Living in Milbank, SD offers an onsite Sales Director role focused on sustaining and growing occupancy through relationship driven sales within the community. This position centers on building connections with prospective residents and their families, as well as key professional partners, in a collaborative, service-oriented environment.
You will work closely with the Home Office to develop and execute marketing and outreach plans, and you will have access to tools and coaching to support your sales efforts. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent experience is acceptable for this role.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed targeted occupancy and sales quotas.
- Focus the majority of your time on income producing activities such as follow up calls, coordinating community visits, planning and executing outreach events, conducting home visits, and engaging with professional referral partners.
- Coordinate with the Director of Nursing to schedule pre-admission assessments and gather required doctor orders.
- Oversee onboarding and renewal of resident leases, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurately entered into Point Click Care.
- Provide proactive customer service and follow up to ensure satisfaction and help retain census goals.
- Model a positive, proactive attitude and engage the team with a can-do approach to customer service.
- Collaborate with the Home Office in developing and executing marketing and outreach initiatives.
- Utilize the resources provided by the Home Office to support sales activities and effectiveness.
- Log sales and outreach activities in the CRM system.
- Present information to community groups, civic organizations, and referral partners as appropriate.
- Lead sales training for the community team, covering inquiry processes, phone skills, tour training, and customer service.
- Represent Peaceful Pines at booths, exhibits, and displays in alignment with the marketing and outreach plan.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred or equivalent experience.
- Previous senior living or sales experience is preferred.
- A genuine passion for seniors and positive impact on their lives.
- Ability to build meaningful connections and relationships.
- Team player who can integrate into and support a collaborative team.
- Self-driven, goal oriented, and capable of sustaining momentum.
- Willingness to receive coaching and support from the Home Office.
- Ability to conduct one-on-one conversations with referral sources.
- Flexibility to accommodate occasional varied hours to align with referral partners, customers, and events.
Tools and systems
Proficiency with a Point Click Care System and a CRM system is part of the role, supporting documentation, outreach tracking, and performance measurement.
