Sales Director, Flexibles Packaging
Job Description
Novolex is seeking a Sales Director to help shape sales strategy and lead execution for Flexibles Packaging across the International, Industrial, and Beverage business unit. This onsite role in the United States reports to the Vice President, Sales and directs a team of National Accounts Managers.
In this position, you will focus on driving new, profitable revenue while also sustaining existing sales. The role includes partnering on strategic priorities around revenue, profitability, and market share, along with building top-to-top relationships with key growth customers and distributors.
What you will do
- Partner with the Vice President, Sales to assist in developing sales strategies aligned to key business goals, with emphasis on revenue, profitability, and market share
- Lead the team to execute sales plans in the assigned territory, focusing on volume, profit, and growth
- Develop and nurture key relationships within assigned channels, prioritizing top-to-top relationships that drive incremental volume with growth-oriented customers and distributors
- Gather and share voice-of-customer insights and market trends through customer visits, attending trade shows, and relaying learnings to key stakeholders
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
- 10+ years of sales experience in a related or relevant industry
- Experience leading sales professionals and deploying sales strategies
- Proven track record and ability to drive new, profitable sales growth
- Strong cross-functional business acumen and understanding
- Frequent domestic travel and ability to travel internationally as necessary
Compensation
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $160,000 - $210,000 per year, plus bonus and benefits.
