Sales Manager
Job Description
The Sales Manager position at a Concord Hospitality property is based onsite in Washington, DC and is responsible for growing hotel business through direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, and property tours for both guest rooms and event space. The annual compensation ranges from USD 62,370 to 77,963.
Responsibilities
- Develop and expand hotel business through proactive and reactive sales activities targeting guest rooms and event space.
- Deliver prompt, courteous service with timely responses to inquiries and bookings.
- Plan and execute targeted sales strategies while maintaining pricing awareness to support departmental efficiency.
- Ensure thorough follow-through on client details and coordination across internal departments.
- Represent the property professionally at industry events.
- Collaborate with third-party booking sites, Concord revenue management, and city convention centers to maximize key city-wide events.
- Meet and exceed monthly revenue targets and sales call metrics.
- Document all sales activities in Delphi or comparable systems for tracking and historical reference.
- Contribute as a team player to support the overall operation and success of the hotel.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality sales, preferably within hotel sales.
- Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with CRM and sales tracking systems (for example Delphi).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Results-driven with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
