Schneider Electric invites you to join a market-leading team in Boston as a Segment Business Development Manager. This onsite role offers a competitive total compensation package (USD 168,800 to 253,200 per year) and a comprehensive benefits program designed to support your well-being and career growth. Based in Boston, MA, you will help accelerate growth in Schneider Electric's strategic global industry segment by defining segment strategy, identifying new business opportunities, and positioning Secure Power and digital energy solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the segment strategy and fuel market growth across all regions
  • Engage customers, cultivate relationships, and expand the sales pipeline
  • Define and position segment-specific solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and represent Schneider Electric to external stakeholders
  • Collaborate across Secure Power and other business units to drive solution adoption

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in business development, segment management, or sales
  • Knowledge of power systems, digital infrastructure, and edge solutions
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to influence and operate effectively within a global matrix organization

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with integrated power architectures and mission-critical environments
  • Familiarity with sustainability and decarbonization trends affecting global industries
  • Strong presentation skills and experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders
