Senior International Business Development Manager
Job Description
Join Envision Technology in Manchester, NH, on site, to lead international sales and business development. This senior role governs growth plans, opportunities, and the sales pipeline, while building a robust distribution network and shaping capture strategy across multiple projects and locations. A strong analytical mindset and strategic approach are essential to close opportunities and drive sustained international expansion.
Responsibilities
- Lead new business capture efforts, including identifying customers and opportunities, generating quotes, and guiding international sales through contract execution.
- Gather market intelligence on products and markets and disseminate insights to strategy, capture activities, and project goals.
- Continuously monitor market trends, customer needs, budgets, market size, and competitive dynamics to inform short and long term growth plans.
- Develop and strengthen key customer relationships, serve as the voice of the customer in internal discussions, and advise leadership on actions required for existing and potential sales programs.
- Establish and grow the distribution and reseller network for Envision’s products.
- Identify international customer needs aligned with the company’s capabilities.
- Create and maintain international business contacts critical to growth and success.
- Collaborate with program managers, engineers, and customers in a fast paced, multi-discipline environment.
- Contribute to the annual business development and sales plan and the product roadmap.
- Support proposals and bids for both international and domestic opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with demonstrated success in international business development and sales.
- 5+ years of international business development and sales experience in the EO/IR defense space.
- In-depth knowledge of the dismounted warfighter electro-optics market, including key customers and the competitive landscape.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to engage with customers, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.
- Experience with military environments and/or challenging commercial environments and system expectations.
- Knowledge of international customers procurement processes and ITAR requirements.
- Ability to identify and capture new international business and cultivate customer relationships on behalf of the company.
- Willingness to travel up to 50 percent (preferred).
