Job Description

The Senior Sales Manager, Healthcare leads a team of Account Executives to hit growth targets within healthcare prospects and customers, focusing on developing and strengthening relationships with executives and senior leaders in healthcare philanthropy accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Account Executives to meet quarterly and annual bookings and revenue targets.
  • Coach team members and track key activity metrics; ensure alignment with the sales process and the leadership framework.
  • Attract, recruit, hire, coach, and train a high-performing sales team to sustain growth.
  • Develop and nurture C-level relationships with strategic customers in healthcare philanthropy through proactive networking and executive engagement.
  • Monitor market trends and notable events within the healthcare vertical to inform strategy and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and customers on territory planning, understand challenges, identify opportunities, and shape go-to-market plans.
  • Support the sales team in closing deals that involve multiple decision makers and buying groups.
  • Leverage feedback from sales teams and customers, along with bookings, pipeline, and account data, to diagnose strengths and weaknesses, drive change, and allocate resources accordingly.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales management experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
  • 10+ years of SaaS sales experience with a focus on consultative solutions selling.
  • Proven track record of leading teams to achieve quotas and sales objectives.
  • Excellent coaching skills and deep knowledge of sales methodologies, enabling your team to negotiate wins internally and externally while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Positive, adaptable mindset with the ability to stay flexible in a dynamic environment and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • Healthcare philanthropy industry experience is a plus.
