Job Description
Senior Sales Manager, Wealth Management role onsite in Folsom, CA, responsible for coaching and training SFS Wealth & Financial Advisors and SAFE staff to drive growth, referrals, and compliant operations across the branch footprint.
Responsibilities
- Provide coaching to SFS Wealth & Financial Advisors on selling, financial planning, time management, portfolio management, and collaboration with the Portfolio Consulting Team for asset management.
- Lead ongoing sales meetings with educational materials, market updates, and sales tips to support SFS Wealth & Financial Advisors and Assistants in building relationships with non-licensed SAFE Branch leaders and staff to drive SAFE member referrals and member value.
- Plan in-branch promotions, seminars, and prospecting programs; attend branch events such as manager meetings, team-building, and social activities, and occasionally present at branch-wide calls to share updates or training for program success.
- Onboard and train new SFS Wealth & Financial Advisors on product features and benefits, required paperwork, IRAs, Roth IRAs, trustee-to-trustee transfers, 1035 exchanges, client profiling and asset allocation, and insurance.
- Assist SFS Wealth & Financial Advisors with sales and financial planning presentations to members as needed to help achieve targets.
- Develop action plans and provide coaching to underperforming Advisors and Assistants to raise performance to expected levels as defined by the SFS Advisor Scorecard.
- Monitor the AUM product mix for each SFS Wealth & Financial Advisor and assist with adjustments to maximize value for members, clients, and SAFE.
- Deliver training to deepen client relationships and identify opportunities to segment clients so all accounts are managed appropriately.
- Serve as a systems expert for program technology such as Salesforce, Advisys, and Riskalyze; train others, monitor usage, and report regularly.
- Recognize and reward high performance within the team.
- Introduce new product features and value propositions to SFS staff.
- Coordinate visits from wholesalers and vendors.
- Ensure suitability and regulatory compliance among representatives; assist with client complaints and mediate internal disputes.
- Support the daily needs of the SFS team.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or five or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
- Securities licenses: Series 7, Series 24, and Series 66, or Series 63 and Series 65.
- California Life Insurance and Variable Annuity licenses.
- Experience in sales management within a credit union or community banking environment.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to prioritize and complete daily tasks efficiently; capable of setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and producing reports and projects in an organized manner.
- Ability to troubleshoot independently and request help when warranted.
- Professional customer service skills by phone and in person.
- Experience with outbound and inbound calling.
