Job Description
Director and business development leader delivering integrated treasury solutions to healthcare and not-for-profit education clients, driving strategic plans for complex relationships and partnering with Treasury Sales Executives to grow wallet share.
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic business development plans in collaboration with HENFP teams, treasury sales executives and officers for undeveloped or highly complex sector relationships.
- Operate as an additive layer to current TSO coverage; the Treasury Sales Officer remains the owner of treasury and payments relationships and the final decision maker.
- Shape and execute client acquisition strategies for a defined portfolio of complex healthcare relationships, prioritizing wallet share growth and new opportunities.
- Support Treasury Sales Executives and banking teams in engagement strategy, call planning and solution positioning to ensure a coordinated, team-led approach to revenue generation.
- Drive proactive prospecting across assigned healthcare systems, identify whitespace opportunities, and advance early-stage opportunities into actionable pipelines.
- Provide leadership on complex, multi-product deal structures and emerging solutions that expand market share across payments, liquidity and working capital.
- Partner with product specialists and coverage teams to design integrated, client-centric solutions spanning major Lines of Business.
- Serve as a senior advisor on structuring and positioning treasury solutions for sophisticated client needs, including large-scale transformations and strategic initiatives.
- Lead strategic and tactical execution of segment-level initiatives, aligning Treasury, Banking and Product organizations.
- Foster collaboration between product, sales and client relationship teams to accelerate commercialization of healthcare solutions.
- Support global and regional growth initiatives by translating enterprise priorities into client-level action plans.
- Identify and analyze emerging product trends, competitive strategies and market gaps within the healthcare ecosystem.
- Develop responses to evolving market dynamics and help shape internal product development priorities and go-to-market strategies.
- Act as a feedback channel to product teams by incorporating voice-of-client insights into innovation and roadmap discussions.
- Provide subject matter expertise in treasury management and product risk to assist banking partners in understanding capabilities and appropriate application.
- Offer guidance across the sales cycle to ensure proper structuring, risk alignment and adherence to internal policies.
- Serve as a trusted internal advisor bridging knowledge gaps between product, banking and sales teams.
- Take part in client call planning, executive reviews and strategic discussions, influencing outcomes through deep industry and product expertise.
- Represent the bank at key healthcare and treasury industry events, delivering thought leadership and consultative insights.
- Lead high-impact discussions with CFOs, Treasurers and senior stakeholders, positioning the bank as a strategic partner in financial transformation.
- Support and advise on consultant engagement strategy, identifying collaboration opportunities and contributing to deal flow through joint client pitches and referrals.
- Coordinate across regional Product and Sales teams to serve customers seamlessly.
- Expand thought leadership on modern treasurer and payments priorities, including ESG considerations and AI applications in treasury and payments.
- Be measured on increases in Solutions Per Relationship (SPR) and new revenue for a portfolio of 25 to 50 current clients.
- Work with bankers/RMs and treasury sales officers to develop a client calling strategy that advances relationships and drives incremental revenue.
- Develop deep, trusted relationships at CFO or Treasurer level.
- Collaborate with bankers/RMs and TSOs to assess current wallet share and identify opportunities for the designated client list.
- Be accountable for Treasurer/AT level client calls on a quarterly basis.
- Partner with SPS Advisory to review relationships and craft a plan of attack aligning gaps to solutions.
- Meet quarterly with the TSE and GCB Head to review progress.
Requirements
- 20+ years of experience in cash management, working capital, liquidity, foreign exchange and merchant acquiring within transaction banking or corporate treasury settings.
- Experience advising or operating within large corporate, Global Commercial Banking or multinational treasury environments, with knowledge of how treasury and payments are evolving to support shifting business and C-suite needs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including proficiency in quantitative analysis and financial modeling.
- Protects the GPS reputation across regions through risk management, governance and control aligned with the Risk Framework.

- Salary: USD 250,000 - 305,000 per year
