Job Description

National Sales Manager will own regional and major-customer execution of Give and Go Foods’ national sales strategy.

Responsibilities

Support development and execution of national or regional customer business sales strategies aligned with overall business strategy
Participate in annual and long-term business planning and strategy development
Own and achieve/exceed annual sales targets for assigned larger account(s)
Maintain clear, concise communication to drive alignment with Director, Customer, and Broker
Pro-actively develop, negotiate, and implement trade spending investments and promotional plans to increase listings, distribution, share of shelf, and market share
Participate in setting product pricing and managing SKU assortment
Complete timely administration of internal processes while managing team and resources to improve internal efficiency
Coordinate company-specific initiatives to improve sell-through rates, including promotions, rebates, and markdowns
Track category landscapes and customer sales performance; identify variances vs. budget (volume, revenue, margin) and develop/execute customer programs to deliver the customer plan
Develop relationships with larger customers and broker contacts to understand customer business needs and ensure delivery of Give and Go business plans
Understand current and anticipated customer requirements and identify relevant company products to meet them
Use an outside-in mindset that keeps the customer (internal and external) prominent in departmental execution to drive a positive customer experience
Keep Broker and Customer contacts current, including processes for product removals and recalls

Requirements

College diploma in Business Administration, Sales, or another related field
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry
Previous experience in category or sales promotion management
Previous experience in budgeting and target setting
Valid driver’s license and active insurance coverage

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
