Area Sales Manager Indirect
Job Description
Grow Financial Federal Credit Union offers a remote-friendly Area Sales Manager Indirect role in the Nashville area, including Cookeville, Nashville, and Memphis. This position emphasizes building and sustaining dealer partnerships, overseeing the indirect dealership network, and using market insights to fuel expansion into new markets. The role includes a corporate vehicle and extensive travel within the credit union’s footprint, with a flexible schedule and clear opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities
- Drive business growth by creating new opportunities while maintaining strong relationships within the assigned territory.
- Oversee the indirect dealership network, ensuring effective management, clear communication, and training and support for dealer vendors.
- Monitor portfolio performance and recommend risk-mitigating actions as needed.
- Act as a liaison between dealership vendors and Grow Financial’s business units.
- Manage strategic accounts, analyze market data, and generate regular reports for the designated market area.
- Support growth opportunities in new markets and states, including overnight travel.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new hires.
- Attend relevant business conferences.
- Meet or exceed KPIs established by management.
- Service the Nashville Market, covering Cookeville, Nashville, and Memphis.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred.
- Five years of business-to-business account management experience (including cold calling, prospecting, and training) or two years of experience as an Indirect Dealer Account Manager I at Grow Financial.
- Five years of experience in indirect lending, underwriting, auto industry sales, or an equivalent combination.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong time management, problem solving, and prioritization abilities.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Residence in the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, DealerTrack, RouteOne, and the organization’s CRM system.

Work Environment
Telecommuting and a home office setup. A corporate vehicle is provided, and travel within the credit union’s area of presence will account for more than 80% of the work week, including overnight trips. The schedule is flexible and may include evenings and weekends.
