Automotive Sales Manager

D-Patrick is seeking an Automotive Sales Manager to lead the Sales Department and support dealership profitability in Crawfordsville, IN. This is an onsite role focused on deal structuring, cross-team coordination, sales documentation, and daily performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Sales Department and team members to structure deals, engage with customers, and achieve key sales targets.
• Partner with Internet Sales to maximize opportunities, working with sales managers to secure reasonable profit on each sale.
• Build and maintain working relationships with factory and third-party finance sources.
• Submit customer paperwork to lenders to obtain approvals and support the sale of service plans, GAP coverage, mechanical breakdown insurance (MBI), and life/disability coverage.
• Back up the Finance Department when needed and establish finance forecasting to help meet target penetration and income goals.
• Verify the accuracy of all sales paperwork, including titles, lien information, taxes, and legal compliance.
• Prepare daily operating reports (DOR), manage customer database entries, evaluate contract profitability, and deliver daily deposits to accounting.
• Complete required forms, attend manager meetings, obtain necessary sales licenses, and perform additional duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 2 years of related post-secondary education OR 3 years of related dealership sales/finance experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a professional appearance.
• Strong organizational, math, and clerical skills, including proficiency with office computer systems and database entry.
• Target-driven, honest, ethical, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently, including weekend availability and overtime as needed.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, sitting, and occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.

Compensation

Salary: $125,000.00 to $200,000.00 per year
