Job Description

Field-based Business Development Executive role with Konica Minolta Business Solutions, U.S.A., Inc. in Ramsey, NJ, focused on net-new logo acquisition and revenue growth through in-person engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Target and acquire new business by outbound prospecting, focused campaigns, and on-site outreach.
  • Own and execute a territory plan anchored in face-to-face selling.
  • Daily field activity at client sites to prospect, engage decision-makers, and deliver on-site presentations.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle from discovery to proposal, negotiation, and closing to secure signed agreements.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales to tailor solutions while maintaining full ownership of the deal and its outcome.
  • Maintain a precise CRM pipeline with clear next steps and reliable forecasts.
  • Coordinate smooth post-close handoffs to accelerate customer onboarding.
  • Meet and exceed targets for pipeline, new business, and revenue.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 to 7 years in B2B field sales or business development with a proven record of securing new business.
  • Strong ability in in-person discovery, proposal development, and negotiation within structured sales processes.
  • Proficiency with CRM and forecasting tools, notably Salesforce.
  • Regular travel within the assigned territory for on-site meetings with customers and prospects.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation for daily field travel.

Salary and compensation

  • Base salary range: $50,000 – $62,000 per year, varies by qualifications, experience, skillset, and location.
