Job Description

Volitant Technologies offers an on-site opportunity in Dunbar, NE for a driven business development professional. You will help accelerate growth, build strategic partnerships, and expand our market presence across agriculture, enterprise, public safety, energy, and related industries, all while working with cutting-edge drone solutions. Location: Dunbar, NE (onsite)

Salary: USD 65,958 - 79,433 per year

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within agriculture, enterprise, public safety, energy, surveying, and related markets.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue and growth targets.
  • Generate leads through networking, industry events, trade shows, referrals, and outbound prospecting.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate opportunity forecasts.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with customers, dealers, and strategic partners.
  • Recruit, onboard, and support dealer partners to extend Volitant's market reach.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding operational needs and recommending drone solutions.
  • Deliver customer presentations, product demonstrations, and business reviews.
  • Identify partnership opportunities that support company growth and market expansion.
  • Negotiate agreements aligned with Volitant's strategic goals and profitability objectives.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers, industry organizations, and key stakeholders to strengthen market position.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop sales campaigns, presentations, proposals, and promotional materials.
  • Represent Volitant Technologies at industry conferences, trade shows, customer events, and training programs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage customer relationships, track sales activities, and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor sales metrics, pipeline performance, and conversion rates.
  • Provide regular reporting and recommendations to leadership regarding market opportunities and business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related role.
  • Demonstrated success achieving or exceeding sales and growth targets.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with customers, partners, and decision-makers at all organizational levels.
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage opportunities and customer relationships.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, industry events, demonstrations, and trade shows.
