Job Description

SelfBeton USA is building its presence in the United States from its base in Orlando, with a clear goal: open and expand the US market starting with the Southeast and scaling nationally. This Business Development Manager role is designed to grow with the organization, supporting the first sales effort and progressing toward leadership of the US subsidiary.

The position combines B2B prospecting, lead conversion, and business-case selling, alongside on-site customer support and coordination with teams in Montréal and France. You will also represent SELFBETON at regional trade shows and help shape the US offer through local market feedback.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of owner-operator prospects across the Southeast, then nationally, targeting building material dealers, construction and landscaping contractors, ready-mix plants, and investors.
  • Qualify and convert inbound leads generated through the group’s marketing campaigns and referrals using the provided CRM.
  • Build and present the business case to owners and stakeholders, covering station economics, site selection, financing options, and return on investment using the group’s business plan model.
  • Create proposals, run lead negotiations, and close deals.
  • Coordinate the customer journey from order through installation and start-up with the Montréal and France teams, including being on site for installations, training, and first operation.
  • Represent SELFBETON at regional trade shows and station inaugurations.
  • Collect and report market feedback to help influence US offer, pricing, and marketing decisions.
  • Supervise locally the digital marketing effort and contribute to content creation with support from the Montréal team.
  • Within 12 to 24 months (based on results), take on delegated signing authority, hire and lead the first US sales and operations team members, and run the US subsidiary.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in the United States, with a track record of hunting, closing, and growing a territory.
  • Experience selling equipment, capital goods, or an investment concept, such as construction equipment dealers and rental companies, building materials, ready-mix, industrial machinery, or franchise development.
  • Proven ability to sell the business case to owners and investors, not only product specifications.
  • Autonomous, pragmatic work style with the ability to manage your week, pipeline, and expenses without supervision.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset focused on building a subsidiary rather than joining an existing one.
  • Fluent English (required) and professional working French proficiency (required) for daily collaboration with French-speaking management and the Montréal team.
  • Based in the Orlando area, with a valid driver’s license and passport for training in Québec and trade shows in Canada.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Tools and reporting

  • CRM provided.
  • Reports to Jonathan Chambon, head of North American business development (based in Montréal), with a weekly review and daily coordination with the Montréal sales and operations coordinator, supported by an eight-person team in France.

Compensation and benefits

  • Base salary: $90,000 to $110,000 per year depending on experience (pay range: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00).
  • Commission: $5,000 per station installed, uncapped, starting from the first station.
  • Full-time, exempt position.
  • Health allowance: $750 monthly toward the health plan of your choice.
  • Paid time off: 10 days plus federal holidays, with an additional 3rd week after 1 year.
  • Work setup: Co-work office in Orlando, laptop, phone, and CRM provided.
  • Travel and expenses: Mileage reimbursed at the IRS rate, travel expenses covered, and an expense account.
  • Onboarding: two weeks of technical and sales training with the Montréal team, followed by the Canadian Concrete Expo in Toronto in February 2027.
  • 401(k): under consideration from year two.

Location, start date, and application

  • Work location: In person (Orlando, FL).
  • Target start date: December 2026.
  • How to apply: Send your resume and a short note describing the largest equipment or investment deal you closed and how you built the opportunity to [email protected].
  • Recruitment is managed by REZOWAY East Coast on behalf of SELFBETON USA LLC.
  • First interviews are held in English and French; shortlisted candidates meet SELFBETON’s leadership in Orlando in early December.
