Business Development Manager-Signage Division
Job Description
Based in Denver, NC with hybrid work options, this role focuses on preparing estimates, bids, and providing technical sales support for signage projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate bids, quotes, and proposals for signage projects, delivered on schedule.
- Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and site conditions to produce detailed cost estimates.
- Coordinate with operations and suppliers to ensure pricing aligns with production and installation needs.
- Monitor bid progress and follow up with prospects to close opportunities.
- Offer technical guidance on materials, installation methods, and design feasibility during sales discussions.
- Collaborate with operations and vendors to scope projects and deliver value driven client solutions.
- Build durable customer relationships by acting as a trusted advisor.
- Qualify leads and support sales conversations with technical insight.
- Identify new customer opportunities within assigned territories or market segments.
- Lead targeted prospecting efforts to expand the signage division’s customer base.
- Stay current on industry trends, materials, and best practices to enhance proposals and client solutions.
Requirements
- Substantial background in signage, facilities management, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in estimating, bidding, or technical sales within the signage or construction industries.
- Strong project management and problem solving abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, drawings, and technical documents.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- CRM proficiency (Salesforce or similar) and strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
