Business Development Representative

SocialMind LLC is hiring a Business Development Representative to grow its social media agency client roster from Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Responsibilities

• Prospect businesses that need social media support via phone, email, and LinkedIn
• Work assigned lead lists and also build your own pipeline
• Represent SocialMind at trade shows, chamber events, and networking mixers across South Florida (costs covered and approved expenses paid)
• Schedule discovery calls with business owners and marketing leads
• Conduct and book free social media audits with prospects
• Assist with onboarding to help new clients get started after they sign

Requirements

• 2+ years in sales, business development, or account management (agency, media, or marketing experience is a plus)
• Comfortable making calls to business owners and approaching people at events
• Based in South Florida and able to attend events in Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade
• Self-driven and organized, with consistent follow-up without reminders

Compensation and Incentives

• Pay structure: 30% of every payment a new client you bring in makes in their first 6 months
• No cap on earnings
• Example: one client on a $5,000/month package pays you $9,000 over 6 months
• Trade show and event costs: trade show tickets, event fees, and approved expenses paid by SocialMind
• Commission-only note: pay is 100% commission; the range reflects estimated first-year earnings for a rep who signs 1-2 clients per month
• Annual pay range: $45,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

• Path to a full-time role with a base salary once you hit the company’s new-business milestone

Location and Work Type

• Fort Lauderdale, FL (hybrid)
• Remote/independent contractor setup with work from home on your own schedule
• In-person presence required for events (South Florida coverage)
