Job Description

Alliant Insurance Services presents an onsite opportunity in Fort Lauderdale for a role that blends strategic marketing leadership with hands-on agent engagement. This position offers a base salary of USD 60,000 per year and a clear path to greater responsibility as you develop expertise in ONeil Marketing's product portfolio. You will support the Marketing Department to drive revenue, mentor less experienced marketers and carrier relations staff, contribute to shaping the department's direction, and represent the company at outside events.

Responsibilities

  • Promote ONeil Marketing's product portfolio to a proficient level that positions you for the Senior Marketing Consultant track within the product area; cross-sell, educate, and promote all company products and services.
  • Demonstrate expert use of the technology required for the role, including software, hardware, tools, websites and web-based programs used by the company.
  • Develop marketing plans for assigned products and provide service support to agents; manage 50–100 daily calls with agencies and agents on all aspects of assigned products.
  • Recruit, train, service and assist agents to maximize production; help with carrier recruit kits, training, contracting, certification, electronic and telephonic signatures, and app-by-email transactions; keep agents informed about product information, rate changes, and key benefits; monitor compliance with reporting and sales rules; provide technical support.
  • Build and maintain a Team Roster of agents/agencies, manage the book of business, and demonstrate the ability to handle complex relationships while educating and establishing credibility with top producers; may train field and internal staff on compliance and suitability requirements for carrier partnerships; typically avoid direct end-consumer communication.
  • Travel for company meetings as needed.
  • Apply expertise across task management, carrier knowledge, technology, problem solving, negotiating and marketing strategies; represent the company at carrier meetings and conferences, and coordinate with carrier reps to resolve issues.
  • Serve as a resource for newer marketers, adhering to company procedures and effectively managing sensitive relationships.
  • Foster cross-department relationships and communicate clearly in writing, on the phone, and in stand-up presentations; assume regional carrier responsibilities and regularly lead discussions at department marketing meetings.
  • Update and maintain system information per policies and procedures; manage the Team Roster and keep task lists current.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Who Quit Writing, Debit Balances, MGA reports, lead distribution/lead management, incomplete contracts, certification processes, and moving agents into production; conduct webinars and showcase SMS technology tools.
  • Conduct agent webinars, product introductions, special projects and prepare information for internal marketing meetings.
  • Assist with training of new employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Enhanced knowledge of the insurance services industry and current familiarity with the assigned product lines.
  • Fully proficient in Oneil Marketing products, technology and services.
  • Extensive experience handling inbound and outbound callers and customers.
  • Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills to resolve internal and external conflicts.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and support business goals through change initiatives.
  • Proficient with office equipment and software, including computers, fax, printers, telephone systems, etc.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; leads by example with documentation and Contact Manager usage.
  • Ability to maintain professional relationships with customers, employees and the public, while safeguarding confidential information and NDA terms.
  • Solid project management capabilities.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, MS Outlook) and experience conducting effective producer webinars.
  • Effective written and verbal communication; capable of documenting contracts, agent conversations and commitments in the Contact Manager.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of personalities in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to persuade and collaborate.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented while remaining adaptable to multiple urgent requests.
  • Proficient English reading and writing abilities.
  • Commitment to upholding all company policies, including confidentiality and safety guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute effectively to a team and to work independently with sound judgment and initiative.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven, capable of achieving tasks within set timeframes.
