Job Description

Lead business development and solutions for veteran health government clients, shaping strategy from pipeline to proposals and ensuring successful contract execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business development initiatives and deliver solutions for veteran health customers.
  • Craft, socialize, and execute a growth-oriented business strategy and serve as the primary client contact.
  • Collaborate with market team peers and external clients to build a robust pipeline, drive new business, and steer proposal and BD activities to address client challenges.
  • Challenge current operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and propose new capabilities aligned with client needs and future growth.
  • Develop and sustain relationships across local industry and government sectors.
  • Manage end-to-end contract execution and oversee hiring, risk management, and technical performance.

Requirements

  • Experience in veterans health or the federal health domain.
  • Proven ability to lead capture activities for government acquisitions.
  • Program management experience, including guiding technically diverse teams to successful delivery on complex programs.
  • Track record developing and executing business strategies that achieve quality growth.
  • Knowledge of government contracts, acquisitions, and proposal processes.
  • Ability to build and leverage relationships within the company, the federal government, and the broader industry.
  • Capacity to work independently, mentor others, and supervise team members.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination as required by the client.
  • Educational requirement: Master’s degree with 3+ years in client and capture roles, or Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in client and capture roles.

Vetting

Work Model

  • Remote: occasional in-person work at Booz Allen or a client facility may be required.
  • Hybrid: frequent work from a Booz Allen facility with potential visits to a customer facility to meet role needs.
  • Onsite: primary work at a Booz Allen office or customer facility with direct collaboration with colleagues and clients as required.
