Job Description

Arcetyp LLC is seeking a GovCon mid-senior level Business Development Lead for IT services who brings NASA, DoD, or Intelligence Community experience. The role is based in Bethesda, Maryland with remote work options and centers on managing the full BD lifecycle, nurturing existing client relationships, and shaping pursuit strategy for strategic federal programs. This position requires guiding opportunities from initial research through proposals, coordinating cross-functional capture activities, and translating market insights into winning approaches.

Responsibilities

Identify, research, and analyze business opportunities aligned with the organization's long-range strategic plans.
Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new client contacts.
Contribute to the development of marketing and business plans, implement strategy, and oversee the BD budget and forecasts for the defined area of responsibility.
Lead the management and execution of the full BD life-cycle across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals.
Create a plan to secure knowledge and understanding of customer requirements, issues, and needs during pursuit and capture phases.
Coordinate meetings with customers, competitors, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy and timing, contract vehicle choices, and lead white papers and RFI responses.

Requirements

10 to 12 years of experience in operations and business development in support of Federal clients.
Prior experience with NASA, DOD or the Intelligence Community preferred.
Proven experience with a large IT services provider.
Proven experience leading a team in capture and winning projects in excess of $25m, including a history of single award wins.
College degree from an accredited university, or relevant experience that can substitute for a degree.
Experience growing a team.
