Business Travel & New Business Development Sales Manager

Lead business travel growth for Hilton Bellevue by building new accounts, managing assigned relationships, and negotiating contracts that improve room revenue.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outside sales from the property, traveling primarily outside the hotel to initiate new business
• Solicit leads, hold conferences, and deliver sales proposals and presentations
• Host and entertain clients and maintain client accounts
• Develop and execute sales strategies aimed at meeting or exceeding revenue and room-night goals
• Represent the hotel by soliciting, responding to, and negotiating business travel rates on contracts
• Negotiate customer contracts and commission agreements with third-party agencies
• Engage in outside sales activities to discuss business opportunities and entertain customers in assigned local and national markets
• Promote negotiated rates across all accounts
• Collaborate with the revenue management team on proposal and contract preparation for prospective customers
• Attend weekly sales department meetings and other scheduled meetings to support business operations
• Respond to sales inquiries from potential clients
• Initiate new sales prospects, qualify leads, and solicit potential clients
• Conduct property site visits and answer guest/client questions
• Determine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, service accounts, and analyze lost business
• Partner with operations departments to support full participation in servicing accounts

Requirements

• 1+ years hotel sales experience required
• 1+ year of hotel business travel experience preferred
• Strong organization, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve independently
• Solid understanding of overall hotel operations
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Proficiency using computer programs including Microsoft Office and Delphi

Compensation: USD 33–38 per hour
