Director, Franchise Sales & Development
Job Description
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify opportunities for new construction hotels under La Quinta, Hawthorn Suites, ECHO Suites, Microtel, and for conversions of La Quinta and Hawthorn Suites in California.
- Negotiate deal terms and Property Improvement Plans.
- Execute hotel franchise agreements.
- Manage relationships and participate in industry events.
- Submit forecasts and generate routine reports.
- Support other members of the development team on special projects.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of major purchase and sale transactions, debt and equity activity, providers, and other hospitality trends within the United States.
Requirements
- Extensive sales experience.
- Hotel franchise development experience.
- Proven achievement in sales by exceeding quotas.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Effective presentation skills.
- Hotel conversion experience.
- Aptitude to evaluate pro-forma analyses and feasibility studies for conversion projects.
- Excellent judgment in evaluating opportunities for the company.
- Willingness to travel.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary range is USD 85,000 to 110,000 annually. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible to receive an incentive payment under the Franchised Development US Incentive Plan with a target percentage listed as N/A, subject to plan terms.
