Job Description

Churchill Living, a Boston-based provider of premium furniture rental and corporate housing, is seeking a Director of Business Development to accelerate growth through strategic partnerships with real estate professionals. The role centers on cultivating referrals and showcasing premium furniture solutions to clients across the market.

In this position, you will build and manage relationships with brokers, developers, managers, and other referral sources, guiding opportunities from initial contact through close and ongoing account stewardship.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate partnerships with real estate agents, property developers, builders, and residential managers to generate referrals for furniture rental and furnished housing services.
  • Promote Churchill Living’s premium furniture rental options and corporate housing offerings to clients and referral partners.
  • Participate in real estate broker meetings, networking events, and industry gatherings to establish new alliances.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients and referral sources.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and referral sources.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to key clients.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings, real estate networking events, and industry functions.
  • Coordinate and execute home staging services using Churchill Living furniture for direct clients.
  • Lead apartment showings for prospective clients and guests.
  • Showcase Churchill Living’s corporate apartments and furnished housing solutions to potential clients.
  • Greet and assist guests during move-in to ensure a professional and welcoming experience.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, real estate, furniture sales, leasing, hospitality sales, or account management.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Comfortable attending industry networking events and sales meetings.
  • Ability to manage multiple client relationships in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated with a business development mindset.
