Job Description
SunSource seeks a strategic district sales leader to oversee a team of Account Managers in the Upper Midwest, driving growth in Fluid Process markets while developing high-performing professionals. Based in the Great Lakes region, this on-site role requires frequent travel of approximately 50% and a focus on expanding our footprint in the region.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of eight Account Managers
- Drive revenue growth, increase market share, and improve profitability
- Develop and execute district and territory sales plans
- Support prospecting, customer engagement, quoting, and closing activities
- Monitor team performance and implement improvement plans when needed
- Build strong supplier and customer relationships
- Partner with internal teams on inventory management and strategic initiatives
- Review forecasts, sales reports, and performance metrics
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated strategic thinking
- Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn and use a CRM system
- Valid driver's license required
- Overnight travel is required
