Job Description

SunSource seeks a strategic district sales leader to oversee a team of Account Managers in the Upper Midwest, driving growth in Fluid Process markets while developing high-performing professionals. Based in the Great Lakes region, this on-site role requires frequent travel of approximately 50% and a focus on expanding our footprint in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of eight Account Managers
  • Drive revenue growth, increase market share, and improve profitability
  • Develop and execute district and territory sales plans
  • Support prospecting, customer engagement, quoting, and closing activities
  • Monitor team performance and implement improvement plans when needed
  • Build strong supplier and customer relationships
  • Partner with internal teams on inventory management and strategic initiatives
  • Review forecasts, sales reports, and performance metrics

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated strategic thinking
  • Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn and use a CRM system
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Overnight travel is required
