Job Description

Neenah Foundry Company offers an on-site Regional Sales Director role in Neenah, Wisconsin, focused on leading the regional sales team, shaping sales strategies, and overseeing district accounts to meet and surpass targets. This position emphasizes close collaboration with operations and engineering to deliver profitable, customer-centric solutions for corporate and district accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and develop the regional sales team to meet and exceed targets.
  • Develop and deploy effective sales strategies, track performance with metrics, and coach the team to strengthen capabilities.
  • Stay ahead of customer needs and market developments to identify new opportunities.
  • Provide proactive support to corporate customers and district accounts.
  • Manage assigned district accounts, crafting commercial plans and executing opportunities to drive profitable growth.
  • Collaborate with operations and engineering to deliver profitable solutions for customers.
  • Coordinate with NFC account managers on quality and delivery issues at corporate accounts.
  • Assist the credit department with accounts receivable issues as needed.
  • Set sales and profitability targets across all accounts.

Requirements

  • Ability to develop account management business plans and strategies that generate profitable revenue growth.
  • Knowledge of marketing techniques and strategies applicable to the OEM market.
  • Skill in understanding a customer’s business through strong working relationships.
  • Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, complemented by active listening.
  • Strong technical knowledge or aptitude in casting and/or machined products.
  • Ability to generate and implement innovative, value-added ideas.
  • Well-developed customer service orientation focused on helping the customer.
  • Experience managing Technical Sales Representatives within assigned district accounts.

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily sedentary work with occasional light lifting up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to access and work with information stored in the company computer systems and to communicate effectively with colleagues and external contacts.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 75% travel anticipated, including 4–8 overnight stays per month.
  • Weekend trade shows or sales meetings may be required.
  • Residence within 60 minutes of a primary airport for travel purposes.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, with a proven record of securing high-value new business, expanding key accounts, and managing district sales.
