Regional Sales Director - West
Job Description
Join Bailey International Inc. as a Regional Sales Director for the West territory, leading a team that works to grow current customer sales volume and secure new customers. This role supports executive leadership with forecasting, market analysis, and market intelligence, while owning day-to-day regional execution through Territory Sales Managers across a defined territory in Texas (onsite).
What you’ll do
- Manage the day-to-day performance of multiple Territory Sales Managers to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed gross profit goals
- Drive achievement of regional sales objectives, including sales revenue, region development, and business development
- Plan, execute, and manage team activities to support the P&L
- Create and maintain accurate forecasts for annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue targets
- Ensure sales goals and forecasts align with the company’s 3-year and 10-year plans
- Lead a goal-driven, self-motivated “hunter” sales approach to achieve or exceed sales objectives
- Partner with marketing and product development to build selling strategies, marketing campaigns, and required sales tools
- Coordinate effectively with operational and administrative teams as needed to remove friction and support outcomes
- Develop and execute sales strategies that can be communicated and applied across the company
- Cultivate long-term professional relationships with customers to grow sales and support customer growth objectives
- Maintain product competitiveness through market and customer research, providing ongoing sales support
- Develop and/or implement training programs that support professional growth for existing and new team members
How success is measured
You will manage and develop sales plans for account managers, focusing on long-term planning and selling a variety of products, services, and/or solutions across multiple lines of business for a defined group of existing clients. The role ensures account managers meet ongoing customer and prospect needs while accomplishing individual revenue goals. You may also personally support major accounts.
Location and travel
The sales professional is located in the geographical territory. Preferred cities include Dallas, TX, Oklahoma City, OK, Minneapolis, MN, Denver, CO, Phoenix, AZ, and Salt Lake City, UT. Travel up to 50% is required based on business need, including some overnight travel.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business, sales, marketing, or communication) or equivalent work experience
- At least 7 years of progressive field sales experience with a proven track record of selling success
- At least 5 years in a leadership role
- B2B hydraulics industry experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of account management solutions is preferred
