Regional Sales Manager
Job Description
Regional Sales Manager at Unitronics drives revenue through defined direct accounts and sales channels, selling the full Unitronics portfolio within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales channels (representatives, distributors, system integrators) and selected direct accounts to achieve revenue targets outlined in Unitronics sales plans.
- Directly promote and sell the complete Unitronics product portfolio within the defined territory.
- Maintain relationships with existing direct accounts, cultivate new ones, and assist in bidding large projects to drive growth.
- Partner with sales channels to maximize territory sales by setting business plans and annual goals, forecasting, evaluating channel partner performance, tracking projects and opportunities, and coaching partner sales personnel.
- Identify and develop new opportunities within sales channels.
- Manage sales channel conflicts to keep go-to-market activities aligned.
- Lead major customer agreements and high-value sales opportunities.
- Work with Unitronics Business Development Managers to support strategic accounts or opportunities.
- Track and report project sales opportunities and coordinate with others on project pursuits.
- Document day-to-day customer communications to maintain clear records.
- Provide sales feedback to Marketing on competitive intelligence, product requirements, features, and new market opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing to promote new and existing products to maximize sales.
- Deliver a monthly report of territory performance, activities, business forecasts, opportunity and project tracking, and any business issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in a regional or similar role.
- A team player with strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Willing and able to travel as required, up to approximately 50% of the time.
- Technical competence and familiarity with personal computers and software.
- Broad knowledge of industrial automation.
- Thorough understanding of the selling process.

Compensation
- Salary range: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year.
