Job Description

Lead sales performance in a region with PepsiCo. This onsite Regional Sales Manager role in Richmond, VA focuses on driving growth across all channels, strengthening key customer relationships, and coaching an internal sales team to deliver measurable results. You will help implement strategies and systems that track performance and optimize execution, with compensation in the range of $93,500 - $120,000 per year.

What you’ll do

  • Manage and coach a team of sales professionals to exceed goals through day-to-day coaching, effective business solutions, and sales development through trade training days.
  • Own key regional customer relationships, including communication of new item authorizations, category reviews, void management, chain activation, performance tracking, and data utilization to improve results.
  • Design and clearly communicate expectations for all in-store promotional activities, aligned with brand standards and overall strategy.
  • Spot growth opportunities and deliver against key performance metrics for poppi across your assigned geography.
  • Partner with PepsiCo Area Sales Managers to share regional updates and develop actionable strategies that maximize execution and performance.
  • Customize and implement region-specific strategies aligned with company KPIs and long-term business goals.
  • Influence and align cross-functional teams around shared goals to ensure cohesive execution of sales initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of national and regional retail authorizations and mandates across both the PepsiCo Bottling Company (PBC) network and independent distributor partners.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of DSD/Sales management industry related experience (Consumer Packaged Goods, Food & Beverage, Retail, and/or Grocery).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and experience using sales-tracking software.
  • Valid state driver’s license for the posted state or territory and reliable transportation in accordance with state requirements for motor vehicles.
  • Ability to travel as required for business meetings and field-based market blitzes.
  • 50-pound lifting requirement, including some lifting and movement of moderate loads.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs.
  • Strong communication, confidence-building, and ability to align teams and stakeholders.
  • Track record of taking responsibility for outcomes, following through on commitments, and stepping in where needed to get the job done.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring people with feedback that drives strong results.
  • Ability to adapt under pressure and shift priorities when needed to create meaningful impact.
  • Open collaboration style that fosters trust and strengthens teams through genuine partnership.

Compensation and benefits

Expected compensation: $93,500 - $120,000 per year. Actual starting salary will consider location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education. A recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
