Residential Sales Manager

This onsite Residential Sales Manager role in Township of Hamilton, NJ leads a branch sales team, mentors field staff, and collaborates with Operations to drive performance and KPI achievement.
Compensation and Location
Base pay range: USD 57,000 to 92,000 per year. This position is onsite in Township of Hamilton, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Hire, onboard, train, and lead frontline sales colleagues within the designated area.
- Foster collaboration between Sales and Operations in the territory to align goals and improve performance.
- Run weekly team meetings to monitor performance and conduct sessions focused on skill development and targeted topics.
- Provide ongoing technical training on services offered in the territory as needed.
- Schedule regular one-on-one debriefs to enhance communication, identify development needs, and inform sales activity improvements.
- Ensure the team meets or exceeds activity standards and other KPIs to achieve sales targets.
- Model strong personal character, commitment, organization, selling skills, and work habits.
- Track progress toward revenue objectives and share accountability with Operations for APITDA realization.
- Monitor sales start rates through a close partnership with Operations leadership.
- Uphold the Rentokil Terminix business model to ensure programs and initiatives are delivered with excellence at the branch level.
- Coach and develop the team to support growth and development.
- Plan, organize, and provide needed resources for new hires.
- Work with new hires to identify improvement opportunities and provide constructive feedback.
- Notify leadership of team training needs to drive continuous improvement.
- Grow unit sales and revenue by applying and enforcing company sales practices.
- Engage in daily fieldwork with sales colleagues while maintaining minimum activity requirements.
- Oversee effective sales programs and ensure proper use and inventory of sales materials.
- Serve as a positive management example and uphold a high-quality image.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business publications, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Strong written communication skills for reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Effective presentation and response skills for groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Basic business math and the ability to analyze sales data.
- Ability to acquire licenses or certificates as required by federal, state, or local agencies.
- At least one year of Rentokil Terminix experience in the designated field with RTX.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Maintain licenses/certificates as required by regulations.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
