Job Description

Converged is seeking an on-site Sales Development Representative in Santa Barbara, California, to lead outbound prospecting and create qualified opportunities for Managed Services and Cybersecurity. The role centers on engaging business owners and IT leaders through calls, email, and LinkedIn outreach to build a disciplined, results-driven sales pipeline from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Drive outbound prospecting activity through calls, email, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and targeted follow-up
  • Identify and engage business owners, executives, IT leaders, and other decision-makers
  • Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities for Managed Services and Cybersecurity solutions
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through disciplined daily activity and follow-through
  • Qualify prospects by uncovering business challenges, technology pain points, and security risks
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly activity, meeting, and pipeline-generation goals
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, outreach cadence, and reporting metrics
  • Work closely with sales leadership and technical teams to improve messaging, targeting, and conversion rates
  • Represent Converged with confidence, professionalism, and a results-oriented mindset

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, business development, or inside sales
  • Strong outbound prospecting skills and comfort with high-volume outreach
  • Proven ability to generate interest and secure meetings with decision-makers
  • Competitive mindset with a strong desire to hit goals and outperform expectations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and coachable
  • Experience using CRM tools to manage pipeline and activity
  • Ability to work on-site in Santa Barbara, CA

Compensation

Base salary plus uncapped commission plus performance bonuses plus 401(k) and health insurance with additional benefits

Pay

$100,000.00 – $300,000.00 per year

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B technology, Managed Services, Cybersecurity, or IT solution sales
  • Familiarity with SMB, financial, government, education, non-profit, or medical markets
  • Track record of consistently hitting or exceeding activity and opportunity-generation targets
