Job Description
Algonquin Acquisition Co., Inc d/b/a RJ2 Technologies seeks a professional Sales Development Representative to join its Managed IT Services team. The role serves as the initial touchpoint for targeted outbound campaigns and inbound inquiries, playing a key part in building pipeline and supporting revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Initiate outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to designated accounts and convert inbound inquiries within service level agreements.
- Engage in list building and prospect vetting to support targeted outreach efforts.
- Assess prospects against ICP criteria, including industry, company size, tech stack, regulatory scope, pain points, timeline, and buying authority.
- Schedule discovery meetings that account executives approve and prospects attend; engage multiple stakeholders across Operations, IT, Security, and Compliance.
- Develop and maintain prospect databases for targeted industries using diverse tools to identify, verify, and evaluate information for marketing and prospecting.
- Hit daily activity targets: 50–70 targeted dials, 8–12 live connections, 20–30 tailored email/LinkedIn touches, and 1–2 meetings set and accepted.
- Achieve weekly metrics: 250–350 dials, 40–60 connections, 6–8 meetings set, with a 75%+ show rate.
- Respond to urgent inbound leads within five minutes and follow up on MQLs within one business hour.
- Research 5–10 accounts daily to confirm tech stack and regulatory drivers.
- Execute pre-event outreach and post-event follow-up within 48 hours.
- Convert content offers such as compliance toolkits, DR/BCP checklists, and runbooks into booked meetings.
- Assist in coordinating events such as webinars, lunch and learns, and breakfast tech reviews.
- Log every interaction with accurate dispositions, contact roles, and next steps.
- Maintain data completeness above 95% and ensure no open tasks exceed 48 hours.
- Document appointment outcomes and meeting notes detailing pain points, technology stack, compliance factors, and timeline.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of proven experience in B2B inside sales, telemarketing, or sales development; technology or managed services background is preferred.
- Strong phone presence and professional written communication; ability to tailor messaging by persona including COO/Ops, CIO/IT, CISO/Security, Compliance, and CFO.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or HubSpot or similar CRMs, Seamless.ai, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Calendly, and Microsoft Teams or Zoom.
- Solid understanding of B2B sales processes, pipeline development, prospect list building, and outbound prospecting strategies.
- Consistently professional, positive, and capable in high-volume outbound environments.

Pay
Annual salary: $45,000 - $55,000.
