Sales Manager
Job Description
The Sales Manager role is responsible for leading a retail sales team, supporting daily store operations, and driving business growth through consistent execution of sales and customer service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the retail sales team by providing coaching, training, and development to improve performance and customer engagement.
- Create and implement sales strategies designed to meet or exceed revenue targets while maintaining strong customer service standards.
- Oversee day-to-day store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, pricing, and stock replenishment to support consistent product availability.
- Manage hiring and onboarding activities, including employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and onboarding to build a capable team.
- Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) system operation, and cash register reconciliation with accuracy.
- Monitor inventory control procedures, perform stock audits, and manage purchasing to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures while supporting a positive work environment through effective managerial communication.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing retail sales teams, including a strong background in retail sales operations.
- Excellent negotiation skills with experience supervising teams and communicating with employees in a managerial capacity.
- Multilingual or bilingual ability is highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases.
- Strong organizational skills, including experience with inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and operational management.
- Competence using POS systems, handling cash, supporting payroll processing and bookkeeping, and applying basic math for retail calculations.
- Demonstrated leadership in training and development, plus experience with recruiting and employee orientation.
- Effective time management and professional phone etiquette, paired with strong customer service skills.

Compensation and Schedule
- Pay: $28.99 - $34.99 per hour
- Expected hours: No less than 20.0 hours per week
