Sales Manager-Funeral Director

Neptune Cremation Service is seeking a Sales Manager/Funeral Director to lead and grow the pre-planning sales team onsite in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role blends leadership with funeral directing responsibilities, requiring a valid state Funeral Director license and a commitment to the GOLD STANDARD of service and ethics. The position offers a base salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 per year and includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and develop a high-performing sales force
• Deliver in-person and occasional virtual sales presentations to our target market
• Maintain the GOLD STANDARD in service quality and ethics as a representative of Neptune Cremation Service
• Inspire the sales team to convert leads provided at no cost
• Build a high-performing sales team capable of positively impacting the lives of others

Requirements

• Valid State Funeral Director license required (applies to most states)
• Adhere to industry rules, regulations and best practices
• Valid driver’s license with ability to drive within designated territory
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of compassion and integrity
• Strong problem solving and organizational skills
• Proficient with computers and the ability to use technology while meeting with families
