Job Description

De Nora Tech, LLC seeks a seasoned Sales Manager to lead its North American electrode business from a hybrid role based in Concord Township, Ohio. This position oversees strategy and growth across Pools, DNOx, and Energy Transition segments, combining leadership in sales, marketing, budgeting, and after-sales support to drive a high-performing team and measurable results.

Responsibilities

  • Meet revenue and gross profit targets for the Pools, DNOx, and Energy Transition segments.
  • Propose strategies to the Director of Sales North America and, once approved, oversee their implementation.
  • Provide leadership to sales and support functions within the assigned segments.
  • Direct the preparation of key account plans.
  • Develop and enhance the performance of the sales staff through training and tactical guidance.
  • Offer regular performance feedback and conduct annual reviews.
  • Set sales and technical objectives and budgets aligned with company, product management, and corporate strategies.
  • Manage expenses to budget.
  • Oversee pricing and profit analysis for the assigned segments, direct or participate as appropriate.
  • Manage trade show activities.
  • Develop marketing messages grounded in research and strategic analysis.
  • Coordinate with Product Manager and Marketing to produce literature, trade show materials, and projects like building signage.
  • Collaborate with other functional groups to support the assigned segments.
  • Create market and product assessment data to inform growth strategies.
  • Work with the sales staff and other groups to support growth initiatives.
  • Frame prospects for resource management.
  • Conduct or coordinate market studies to provide targeted data for development projects.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director to identify information needs.
  • Support competitive analyses.
  • Direct and participate in creating the annual DNT sales and margin budget, including forecast updates and monthly reports.
  • Take the lead or provide support as required for issues related to non-assigned business segments.
  • Negotiate and support long-term supply agreements in collaboration with the sales group.
  • Lead a team of four sales professionals responsible for annual revenue ranging from $15 million to $150 million across Pools, DNOx, and Energy Transition.
  • Lead accounts, negotiate pricing, launch new products, maintain existing accounts, prospect for opportunities, handle inquiries, manage the sales funnel, and coordinate with Technical Services, R&D, Product Management, supply chain, manufacturing, accounting, and legal as needed.
  • Manage and maintain customer data and customer agreements.

Requirements

  • Business or technical degree (engineering or chemistry).
  • 15+ years of direct sales experience in technically engineered or industrial products, with marketing experience.
  • CRM experience is very helpful.
  • Ability to manage professional-level staff and engage with key customers to enhance the value of De Nora Tech products and services.
  • Experience managing sales teams in mid-size companies selling to diverse markets; experience selling to large companies is an asset.
  • Strong external perspective with the ability to evaluate opportunities as a portfolio.

About the Role

As a key leader in the commercial operation, the Sales Manager develops and executes growth initiatives for the De Nora Tech electrode business across North America. This role provides sales and technical support management, training, and field support to expand sales in the Pools, Oxygen (DNOx), and Energy Transition market segments. The role includes directing marketing analysis and promotional activities for products and participating in related marketing efforts, while guiding the overall management of sales activities.

Work Location

Hybrid remote work arrangement in Concord Twp, OH 44077.

Compensation

USD 150,000 - 175,000 per year.
