Key Responsibilities

- Coach consultants through regular one-on-ones, proposal reviews, and customer-meeting feedback.
- Allocate inquiries and appointments fairly based on workload and project complexity.
- Review the sales pipeline, including conversion rates, order values, and margins.
- Help consultants align options with customer priorities while staying within budget.
- Verify proposals include the required drawings, selections, pricing, and approvals.
- Approve discounts within agreed limits and escalate exceptions.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Project Delivery before confirming unusual specifications or lead times.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns and document agreed next steps.
- Maintain showroom displays, finish samples, and product information.
- Develop relationships with local interior designers and contractors.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and product training for the showroom team.
- Own showroom operations and overall team sales performance.
- Join important customer meetings without a separate personal sales quota and without competing with consultants for leads.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of consultative sales experience in kitchens, interiors, furniture, home improvement, or a comparable sector.
- At least 2 years supervising a sales or design-consulting team.
- Experience managing sales targets, margins, and a pipeline of considered purchases.
- Confidence discussing layouts, materials, quotations, and customer expectations.
- Practical understanding of how specification changes impact cost and delivery.
- Strong coaching skills and the ability to address performance concerns constructively.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting.
- Availability for the stated on-site schedule, including a Saturday rotation.
Nice to Have
- Experience reading cabinetry plans, working with trade accounts, or using kitchen-design software.
- No need to personally produce technical drawings, as specialist design support is available.
Compensation and Bonus
Base salary: USD 90,000–115,000 per year (paid biweekly, before taxes).
Bonus: Annual performance bonus with a target of 20% of base salary. The bonus is not guaranteed.
At target performance, total cash compensation is estimated at $108,000–$138,000. Bonus measures include showroom gross profit, completed-order performance, customer experience, and team development. Written eligibility, calculation, and payment terms are provided before the performance period.
